West Highland Way Accommodation
The West Highland Way is the most popular long distance trek in Scotland and one of the most popular in the UK. Walkers plan how many days they are going to take to complete the walk and find accommodation each evening en route. The route stretches from the small town of Milngavie, seven miles north of Glasgow and finishes 95 miles (152 Km) later at Fort William in the Western Highlands.
The walk is indubitably the most scenic that you will find in the UK. It passes through all sorts of terrain with mountains, glens and desolate moorland on the way. You are also likely to see a wide variety of Flora and Fauna. If you are lucky you may even spot a Golden Eagle.
West Highland Way Accommodation Options
Being 95 miles long it takes several days to walk the West Highland Way. The number of overnight stops will be dependent on your fitness and how much ground you want to cover each day.
